I am asking if any kids take ritalin and adderall ? That takes both medicines because I am just wondering and i am thinking about asking my psychriatrist to take me off risperdal and put me on adderall.
I read that it can help with weight control and I need some help now because i am going down a dangerous road that can be real bad .
Because I now weigh 188 1/4 pounds and that is not good.
I am 23 and 5'1
I am very immature and look younger than i am. I act younger too.
I take risperdal,ritalin and zoloft.
But I have gained alot of weight on risperdal and that is not good.
In 2004 i was weighing 108 pounds.
I gained 3 to 5 pounds in 3 weeks.
If any adults take ritalin and adderall , i like to know.
Please tell me what you think? What should i do?

Dinokid, Adderall is a stimulant like Ritalin, you would take one or the otehr, not both. Your doctor should be able to advise you to an alternative to the Risperdal.I have taken both Adderall and Ritalin (Patch) at some point. Ironically we're playing with meds again, so I have Adderall yesterday and Ritalin today. Though, I've never taken both at the exact same time. Both of those have made me lose weight. I've heard that Risperdal makes people gain weight. And if it's an unhealthy amount like you seem to be sayig sounds like it is, I'd definitely talk to your doctor, like Diane V said.
