I can relate!

Hi T-Mac's Mom,

I can totally relate to your posting. I to have a child that I have long suspected of ADHD. Austin just started school in July of this year and I have already had to move him twice. His teachers were constantantly complaining about my son and his inability to stay still

Austin has classic ADHD symptoms from what I have been told. He is unable to focus for more than a few seconds at best, blurts out things such as "My brain in crazy", has trouble making and keeping friends, he fights constantly with his sisters, fidgits constantantly  He acts like his pants are full of red biting ants.

I am to my wits end with this sweet, SUPER INTELLIGENT, crazy child. There are nights when I just feel like I cant take another day.

I have made Austin an appointment to see a Doctor and I am hoping that I can finally get a diagnosis and medication. The only problem that I have is his father refuses to see the truth about his condition and will not support any drug intervention. I am hoping that the Doctors can convice Dad that it will be the right thing to do.

As for your little man... Austin showed the exact same symptoms at around the same age. I think you are right to be concerened. The story is all too familiar. Good luck and follow your heart, I think you are on the right track!
