Thoughts on joining Chadd | ADHD Information

I was a member for a year but didn't renew this year.   I don't remember all the benefits, but you do get a subscription to their magazine and access to forums on their website. I would like to know also! There isn't even a group in our county. Our local branch has meetings once a month and seminarslectures in our area.  They also send me e-mail notification of upcoming ADHD related events and proposed changes to government policies that affect ADHD.  I think its worth the $ just for those things.

What are the benefits.  Anyone who is or was a member- please share your experience.

I forgot to mention I also sent an email to the Parent to Parent coordinators in my area and no one ever wrote back.  I'd like to know if anyone has attended the parent to parent meetings and how they like them if so.I too had thought about it to be involved however the closest group to me is a 3-4 hour drive. I joined and I love their Attention Magazine.  As for the meetings for some reason I always get the email the very day of the meeting and can't make it that night.  I should phone or email the person back.  The other problem for me is getting a baby sitter because only I can get my son to bed and sleep so it's hard to go to meetings so I never have.  But they send informative emails and the magazine is great like I say.  They also send you a big resources book but I've never used it for anything.
