My son is currently taking Wellbutrin for his ADHD, Seroquel and Trileptal for the mood disorder. He has been on the Trileptal the longest, and I'm really wondering if it is helping at all. Has anyone tried a mood stabilizer in the same class as Trileptal with any success? He already has tried Risperdal and Zyprexa which did not work well.

DD doesn't take a mood stabilizer, but I have heard good things about Abilify. I ALSO HAVE HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT ABILIFY, MY BEST FRIENDS SON IS ON IT AND DOING WELL, THAT ALONG WITH 54 MG CONCERTA AND A BOOSTER IN AM AND PM WHEW BUT IT WORKS.
