Flavay is expensive, and does not contain enough of any one particular thing to have any effects.IMO, sve your money, and buy something useful, like Omega's.
ADHD symptoms can change, and progress depending on the type of ADHD and what symptoms are left untreated. Kids who are untreated sometimes as teens self medicate with illegal drugs.
My DD has what is called ADHD/Innattentive, She is not hyper, never has been , just cannot focus and pay attention. There are several different types of ADHD, and several different treatments for each.
I'm relatively new here but found hearing others experience, strength and hope helped me during some past difficulty in my life and thought it could again. Thank you all for your posts and sharing your experience with ADHD children.
We are currently in the "elimination phase" ... checking eyes; hearing; etc. Our DS is in 1st grade and is having trouble paying attention. His kindergarten teacher also had made comments about his distractability and hyper focus on strange things (scrap of paper; fuzz ball on floor; etc.).
So - I've been reading and learning all I can. I came across "Flavay" articles and web sites - according to their sites, they've had very positive results with absolutely NO side affects. Although I hesitate to take that at face value since it is their web site! Has anyone here had experience with Flavay or Flavay Plus that you can share?
Also - I haven't been able to determine from all I've read -- do ADHD symptoms get progressively worse over time? For instance, my DS isn't disruptive in class - he just doesn't pay attention/focus. Over time does that get worse or stay the same if left untreated?
I can relate to some things that the group has written but others I don't. I'm not sure if my son is ADHD or not ... or if it just hasn't progressed enough for me to see more of the symptoms described here...
