I have a four year old daughter with ADHD, with an emphasis on the H! She will be starting kindergarten in the fall and I'm very concerned about her ability to behave, sit still, and learn in the classroom, as well as controlling her behavior at home. She is not yet on meds, I plan to initially try Omegabrite and Pedi-Active. However, if necessary, I'll put her on meds, just trying to buy some time due to her age.
Just wondering if there are any support groups in NYC for parents of ADHD kids. I'm aware of CHADD, but don't think they have a support group for parents.
