When you saw the pediatrician the first time, armed with the paperwork they request beforehand, did you bring your adhd child along with you to the appointment, or just yourself to discuss with the ped initially?
We've got our referral tomorrow, and my dh is wondering if our son should be coming with us, I think not, but the paperwork never mentioned bringing my son, just all the paperwork!

YOu shouldn't be seeing a Pediatrician unless it is for a referral to a Neuropsych, or Psychologist. A pediatrician should not diagnose ADHD. A psychiatrist can prescribe meds, once you have a neuropsych report.
I DID bring my DD to the first neuro visit, she was observed only, but it did help.
