My son was diagnosed w/ adhd about 4 yrs ago. He has been on meds about 3 yrs. He was recently diagnosed with a "high probablity" of having Asperger's Syndrome. So now I guess he has adhd and AD. His primary problem is impulsitivity and of course he has all the other problems most kids have with adhd. I had him on concerta 27 mg. It worked great but he wasnt sleeping or eating well. About 2 or 3 months ago he started on Focalin xr 10mg then 15 mg. It didnt work as well as the concerta but he was eating and sleeping. they upped it to 2o mg and he was awful. Just so impulsive, so hyper alot worse then when he was off his meds. So now we are searching for a new med. Any advice.
