Can I increase my DS's concerta (currently taking 36 and increasing to 54) while we are coming off the Strattera. My doctor doesn't feel he needs to be slowly taken off and even the pharmacist said it was okay to go off cold turkey but I'm nervous about doing it. I can decrease him some with the extra meds I have (he was on 60, last night I gave him 50 and I can do that for a few days then I can do 2 days at 36 and then can go to 25 for a few days). I would really like to try the increased Concerta ASAP.

You can stop the Strat Cold turkey with little or no side effects, we have done it twice.If he were to have any side effects, what might I see? I read somewhere that someone had hallicinations and panic attacks - I don't want him to have to go through anything like that.

Possibly mood swings, but we saw absolutely nothing.
