From everything I've read it can take a few months for vitamins & supplements to work. My daughter is 6 and also has trouble swallowing pills, (we've been working on it though, started with mini m&m's, then regular m&m's, now we're working with mini jelly beans). She has been taking supplements for a little over a week and I've found that the ones that are really too big for her to swallow I can crush and put in her food. This works well with the calcium/magnesium supplement as it has no taste. I'm still looking for something to but her B vitamin in ~ she doesn't like the taste of it ~ makes her gag. The omega 3 & 6 gelcap, I've punctured a hole and drained it into applesauce and capsules I've just opened and put the powder into food. I'm noticing a slight difference in just a little over a week. She's had 4 GREAT days at school ~ and seems to get frustrated less easily. Hope this helps. Good luck ~ Lord knows we all need a little bit of that.Supplements didn't work with out med.rshn
