I was wondering if any of you have experienced jargon or babbling of your child when they were or are a toddler??? My ds is 3.5 and he has a ton of language but most of it is mixed with jargon. Today is day 1 of 5mgs of Adderall XR so maybe his brain was working too fast???? Not sure. Just throwing this out there.....
Yes- my youngest. He is develeopmentally delayed and has dx of pdd-nos. He is now 5 and speaks nicely with only some minor issues. But from age 1.5-3 it was lots of bubbly, expressive babbling- lots of appropriate inflection- and almost musical- but not much actual language.Tried my 3.5 yr old on ritalin and had this problem. Talked nonstop...in almost a freaky nature.
