There's a branch of South Shore Rehab, in Braintree, MA that a co-worker of mine absolutely loves (her daughter went there a few years ago). They do a full eval, I think she called it a ped. eval. Also, her daughter received a bunch of services there (not sure what ones, but she has a central processing disorder and adhd). My SIL also takes her daughter there for speech and really likes it. They were looking at my son for autism and he is currently being followed at RI hospital. They are saying now, they dont think he has it but MAY have *something that wont be determined until he gets older (like ADHD they said). He is 4. I need to have more done. They are very lax. I need the name of some dr's in MA. I dont even know what to look for. I got the name of one but unfortunately they arent PPO provider, so the secretary told me to look for "neuro psych" on my insurance and see who is in network. I tried looking, but they dont even have a place that says neuro psych. So what kind of dr am i looking for?? He needs a new evaluation to get to the bottom of this already! THANKS!!

There is a program here on the North Shore call ARC for autism. Their phone number is 800-728-8476. Maybe they have contacts south of Mass who could find the right pediatric neuropsychologist for you. Call them and ask for help. Sure can't hurt!!

Great idea Bethann and yes there is a Greater Arc of the Southshore, they have a wonderful program.
