dd iq test | ADHD Information

My dd has been seeing a psychologist for the past couple months. I met
with the dr yesterday to review Jillian's iq test results...she is happily
average to slightly above! Dr said at this point she sees no learning
disabilities, that dd is a happy, bright little girl with a wiggle worm inside
her. She said she will be fine. What a relief. Currently dd is in the public
school and doing well, but the school is in a rough neighborhood with little
parental support. I have subbed in the district and came home thinking all
teachers should be paid 0k a year (at least!). My older dd goes to a
Catholic school, and the dr thinks Jillie will do well there, that the structure
would be good for her. Boy, do I feel better about everything. Dr said we
don't need to come back to her unless there are problems down the road,
but at this point, it all looks good. Thank heaven.    Congratulations!  As a survivor of a "rough" district, I would definitely not have my child go to a disadvantaged district.  Peer influences were bad.  Education wasn't valued, my brother and sister were bullied, etc...  I learned from the exposure and got out but sister and brother (both ADD) were crushed by their experiences.  My parents couldn't afford private school.  When my sister got pregnant life became very expensive.  She's 50 now and they are still paying for the rough start she had.  Congrats to you!  It is nice to read good news here sometimes1that really is good news. My dd does have coexisting LD's and it really is a struggle for her. I'm happy for you both, you can breathe, somewhat, a sigh of relief. Be nice if you can have your kids at the same school I bet .
