Talking about melatonine !@##

Went to the natural food store about 6 weeks ago and told them about my problem. They gave me a bottle (50) 3 mg of melatonine and I ran out about 2 weeks ago.I was taking 1-3 every night...No wonder I selp well.

Nothing adrenaline producing like computer/video games before bed.

Since you can't count sheep, count your sleeping pills.

Lay perfectly still and purposly relax all of your muscle groups. Start with your big toe, then the next toe, then the arch of you foot. Spend about 1 full minute on each group. When I do this at night in the bed, I have never made it all the way to the top of my head before I am asleep. Being ADHD your mind might not stop but at least you can think about relaxing.

If your married, have sex. Just don't tell your wife!!! LOL If your not married I will give you my X's phone number. She will probably sleep with you.

I also use a box fan in the room when I sleep. I told my doctor and he said that it was common for ADHD people to use fans when they sleep.

Warm milk

melatonin: I cut a 1 mg melatonin up into 4 pieces and take it a quarter at a time seems to work even better plus the dose is so low. Use just occassionally or until I feel my internal clock has been reset.

Phosphatadyl serine in the AM. In a much better mood also.

Other herbs I use occassionally with excellent results: Holy basil, bocapa, jujube, theanine, kava kava.

5HTP, an amino acid. Some people swear by this but it always makes feel groggy and tired the next day.

Yes, box fan is an excellent remedy. I use a white noise machine from tools for wellness. It's basically a small powerful fan enclosed in plastic case that has baffles that allow one to ajust the tone and pitch of the fan. I don't know why I forgot this one because I would not sleep without it. I took it on my last vacation as well.

I go  bed and I'm tired and all kink odstuff comes to mu mind and it just cant stop. So after 15 min. Ihave to get up..

 

I'me afraid of sleeping pills. Tried melatonine but its addictive causing the brain to stop procing it.

Beside counting sheeps, do you have any solution?
