Just thought I would put out a possitive post. We had our 6 month med check and my ds (8 yo) passed with flying colors. He in growing and doing great. I am now pretty used to it so it took me by surprise when the doctor just grinned and kept asking about different parts of ds's life. She was so pleased that she wanted to hear it all. I ran out of ideas after telling her about the almost straight As, 2 belts in Tae Kwon Do, and good behavior. The only negative is some rebound after 5 pm. It makes Cubscouts a bear but that is about it. The doctor must have had a few minutes because she kept smiling and asking more questions. After we got home I thought of how he sits still in church and sunday school and has only had a couple of "pink notes" for disruption in class. (no biggy)
We have a ped and I think she has alot of ADHD kids that don't have very good results. We are on 18 mg of Concerta and it was our first med so we were very lucky.
Take care,
Yippee! Thanks for posting the great news! Your son sounds like he is
