delayed side effect of Daytrana | ADHD Information

we just started our dd on daytrana about a month ago and like you have had good results. We have seen very brief meltdowns late afternoons. we just increased to 15mg from 10mg, hopeing it will improve minor blurting etc. at school, thinking initial dosage didn't mirror previous metadate she was on. hang in there and thanks for posting this. My son has been on Daytrana for several months now with overall excellent results and min/no side effects. Approx one month ago we went up to 20.  Starting last week he has started to have some emotional breakdown in the afternoon - usually related to some stressor that typically would not bother him. It seems alot like the rebound troubles we had on Adderall. But why would it start now ? - even with the high dose,  we have been using that for several weeks.  I am going to give him a left over 15 today and call the MD.  His report card conference is next week and it should be good but I feel like the 15 was losing its effectiveness.  Any thoughts?
