Unable to find a job -- file for SSDI?? | ADHD Information
Should I apply for SSI or
SSDI for Adult ADHD & Bipolar. I am essentially unemployable
because I have gotten fired from too many jobs (3 in two years) due to
the fact that I have a problem with concentration, doing analysis and
keep getting distracted.
This leads me to getting fired after typically just after a few months
because my manager & coworkers don't have confidence in my ability
to do the job. They use any mistake I made no matter how
inconsequential as a way to justify getting rid of me.
I got terminated after 3 months from what was supposed to be a 10 month
contract assignment because they weren't happy with my performance.
I have been told by recruiters that I am essentially unemployable.
I am 30, have a BA degree, MS degree but a lousy job history and no
real supervisory references. Because of the latter, I can't even get a
temp job.
The reason why I ask about depression & anxiety is because I sought
help from several psychiatrists & told I have some type of
depression or anxiety and given some type of pysc meds. They helped
somewhat but still the problems of concentration, distraction are still
there.
Is this a reason to get SSI, What about bankruptcy?? I heard that in
certain cases, you can get student loans discharged if there is a
'hardship reason'. Well, not being able to get any job may be a reason
if I can that argument.
