good news about wetting | ADHD Information

Hi All, I keep seeing posts about wetting and while I have shared this before I think it's worth mentioning.  If it even helps one of you it will be worth it.  My son was wetting often during the day, never at night, and sometimes soiling. After tests the Ped told us that he was constipated and that this was common with stims.  The "poop" was backed up and pressing on his bladder.  If the bladder is being pushed on then it can leak (alot) like a pregnant woman sometimes can.  Also, if the bladder never actually fills because it's squished, he may not always get the urge to go until it's too late.  We gave Wyatt an enima, then used myralax (SP?) for two weeks and now he is taking a fiber pill and drinking lots of juice eveyday.  He only wets now when he's playing outside and waits too long to come in and take his ski pants etc off.  I know wetting can be caused by the add and by the meds themselves but maybe some of you will find that it's caused by the same thing Wyatt had.  Just thought I'd share.Glad you posted Wyatt's Mom.
