Just thought I would pop in as I have not been on the forum for a while. Brittney is doing fantastic on the Concerta and has stayed at the low dose. She was also awarded Terrific Kid in her class for the month of February. She has NEVER gotten Terrific Kid or student of the month. I thought it would NEVER happen.
Nice to read good things.thanks. I thought this over before I posted it. But I have posted alot of negative things about my daughter. Thanks for applauding. I don't want to seem to be bragging, because that is not my nature. We share in each other's happiness!!bragging is allowed, especially here, toehrs dont know the pride we feel when our children succeed, it can be so much harder for them so it's even more of an accomplishment. Good for her...................Brag please. There is way too much negativity. We often dwell on the negatives of our kids - I do- but we overlook the positive.
Our school does "Praise Awards" and "Caught Being Good" pencils. My son waited a long time to get that first one and they are very few and far between for him, but I bawled when he brought the first one home because he was sooooohappy and felt so validated by that D%$M pencil!! We all want our kids to happy and secure in themselves, but that's hard to teach in a world that revolves on rewards. I'm so happy that your child got to experience that institutionalized vote of confidence!!! They need it!!! BPQW39532.5756944444
Brag away! It is only bragging if you can't back it up - and your daughter definately earned it!
We love to hear the good things - and when our kids succeed! Thanks for sharing!
That is fabulous! You should bragg away!!!! Congrats to Brittney!! Woo-Hoo!!
