Thought you all could appreciate this:

I told DS this morning (for the third time) to go upstairs and picK up the dirty laundry he'd left all over the floor in the bathroom and hall.  Well, an hour later I go upstairs for something and see what must be every stitch of clothing he owns in a big pile in the hall!  I called down to him (trying not to laugh too hard) "hey- what's with all these clothes in the hall?"  He answers "You said it was the third time you were telling me so I figured I better get them all."

I didn't have the heart to tell him that I had actually told him to pick them up, not put them there.

Once I told Wyatt to clean up everything off of the living room floor or he could not go outside.  He put it all on the couch and chair.  He was proud so i couldn't scold him.  They are soooooo funny sometimes.

That sounds like my 12 yr. old ds undiagnosed....hmmmm......You have a great attitude if you found this funny while it was happening.  I would have been furious if my child did that b/c it would have been so much work to put them back.  He put ALL his clothes in the hallway? Too funny! (As long as you didn't
have to pick them up!)oh my that's hilarious. i could totally see my son doing that. I applaud your attitude.  You're my hero.I was partly to blame so I did actually pick them up- it wasn't too bad since all the clean ones were on the top- I just tossed them back into his drawers and the rest went into the laundry basket.  The kids have been off school all week and I haven't been giving him his focalin till after lunch.  I should know better then to expect him to complete anything properly before when I haven't given him his meds.
