dexedrine | ADHD Information

when I started on adderall I told the doc I didn't like the fact that I had to keep dosing every 4 hours and deal with rebound issues to boot!  He switched me to XR.  So, if you're on regular adderall, and it works, then I suspect XR would be next for you, unless cost is an issue.  I think you are right about doctors' suspicions...especially with relatively new patients.  Time and consistency must pass, I suspect, before they can feel more comfortable that we crazy adults are in it for the symptomatic releif, not the high (what there is of one!)hi. i have been prescribed adderall before, but the only downfall for me is the comedown. I get all jittery and generally just feel bad.. my friend who is prescribed dexedrine recommended me dexedrine, he says because it is pure dextroamphetamine and that there are no salts that the comedown isn't as harsh, is this true? i really wanna try this stuff out for my adhd, so how would i go about telling my doctor i would like to try it so i dont end up sounding like i just want drugs to get high, idk i guess just throwing drugs out there that i want to be prescribed would kind of sound suspicious to me if i was a doctor? anyone with experience for both medications please post. should i just tell my doctor about the salt thing or should i just tell him my friend is prescribed it and it works for him and adderall didn't? is the comedown even less harsh than adderall?
thank you
