many congratulations to your child!! my son won his star student award when he began meds 7 weeks ago. he always said it was the one thing he'd never be ble to achieve. when it happened we were all over the moon.

My son's old elementary had one like that. It was great to allow the student that might have been failing and then improved their grade or behaviour to be reconized. We called it Eager Eagle award.too earn this award is in recognition of demonstrating postive attitude, good character, and responsible citizenship, at the beginning of the school year was tough until we got his meds adjusted for him. but since christmas he has been doing great. alot of happy faces coming homeCongratulations! I too am happy for an ADHD'er. We don't see them as often as we should!

Bake him a cake with sparkle candles, that will be special. That is good. A lot of schools do awards and where my girl was going they have the student of the month award and my girl wanted it so bad I said something at the IEP and they listed it as something she can earn and when she did she beamed from ear to ear. I agree. Great job how exciting. I know I was so happy and excited when I saw Trents report card earlier in the week.
