Hi Diane,
No, the docs don't think it's a migrane--that was their first guess. No headache, nausea, etc... and it was truly "double" vision. She was seeing two clocks on the wall, told me I had 4 eyes, etc...
Vision issues are one of the more serious potential side effects of the meds so the fact that this has happened twice now is what worries me.

I agree, it'd make me nervous too. Have you tried non stimulant? Strattera?
Has anyone had any experiences with double/blurred vision while on meds? A year ago, while my 9 yr old daughter was on 72mg of Concerta, she experienced 2 hours of double vision. We took her to an opthamologist to be checked out and our pediatrican did an EEG with no remarkable results.
Since then, she has switched to 50 mg of Vyvanse and it doing well on it , but a few months ago, she had one 20 minute episode of double vision.
We live overseas and don't have ready access to doctors, so I'd appreciate any input from others.
Thanks.
is it accompanied by a headache? I just wonder as I get migraines with aura and get blurred vision. (very infrequently and now never as I taked meds for it) I just wonder if it's potentially a migraine? The 20 minute duration is what made me think this, that's about the length of time for an "aura". I don't get exactly "double vision", but blurred vision maybe hard to describe.
