Insomnia Med- Please Help!!! | ADHD Information

6mg is kinda high to start, I would lower it , to 1/2 or one and try it.

So I finally found something that seems to work for my lifelong dance with insomnia.  Problem is its sold as a dietary supplement, not a medication, thus not regulated by anybody, no research on it whatsoever, and I have no idea what I'm messin' with.  Anyone who knows anything, please let me know!

The pill is call Melatonin Plus 3mg with 25 mg Theanine.  When I take one or two of these babies, I fall asleep faster, wake less often, and wake up with little to no "hangover" or residual drowsiness like with prescription meds.

Sounds great right?  Problem is, it works so well that I've been taking it every night.  As stated above, since there's not much info on this, I have no idea what potential damage I'm doing to myself.  Maybe none.

Thanks

I don't think either of these things is known to cause any significant issues or side effects. As with anything that's a supplement like you say it's not regualted, but 3mg of melatonin is fairly common dose.

I'm glad you found something for sleep. Around 6 months ago I started taking medicaition for migraines and the side effects were "sedating" effects, so the plus I got was no more insomnia.................it's like a gift!
