If your pharmacy screwed up, they should take care of all the arrangements for getting you the right med--unless you decide you like the regular Adderall better and decide to keep it! It's likely that you will have to get another script from your doctor, and bring it, along with your Adderall, to the pharmacy, which will keep take back your regular and give you equal amount of XR.
In the meantime, if you're stuck with the Adderall or nothing all weekend, and you want to be medicated, take half a tablet (10 mg) which should last you at least 4 hours, repeat as needed!

Doctors can be called after hours. If the pharmacy didn't screw up and your dr. did, I think you should call for advice on what to do. I think the regular Adderrall is the same drug, but not the extended release version (that's the XR). So, you should be able to take the same dose of the Adderall regular, but have to take it more often.
