his hearing is PERFECT, but
she said it sounds like he could possibly have central auditory processing disorder. I think thats what she called it and unfortunately they don't test for it there. She did give me the name and phone number locally of someone who does. She told me to go ahead and keep the appt with the neurologist tomorrow to see what she thinks, but if we don't find something out or figure out if its from his concussion or whatever then I should definitely call this guy. The only thing is they wont test for it until age 7. Wth? What if it is, my son has to go for another year struggling?
I really don't even understand what it is, so i'm going to do some reading on it tonight on the internet.
Any thoughts? Opinions?
brtsqd339548.7055787037ok, so alot of this that i have read online does sound alot like things with trent.
but other then them being tested, how do you know to decide if its adhd or capd?
Because she said they can't test him till he is 7. which is a year away.
ok the neurologist today said she didn't think Trent has this. So I guess for now thats a good thing.
