Effective December 19, medical professionals prescribing medication will be permitted by the Drug Enforcement Administration to begin issuing multiple prescriptions for Schedule II controlled substances during one office visit. The prescriptions will have to be filled on different dates, and the total amount of medication prescribed under the new regulations must not exceed a 90-day supply. This is a break from the past when multiple visits to medical professionals were required in order to receive multiple prescriptions.
The two stimulants most commonly used to treat AD/HD, methylphenidate (MPH) and amphetamines (AMP), are regulated as Schedule II drugs by the Drug Enforcement Administration because they have a potential for abuse when not used as prescribed by a medical professional. This will streamline the process for people prescribed medications with this classification.
What is your point? you have flooded this forum with all kinds of stuff, what are you really trying to say in this one?
I'm not sure who your question was directed to. I know that with ADD we all miss detail. If you are wanting to know what I am saying, then you can notice that I said that Provigil seems to work well with my Dexedrine. If you want to know waht the quote is saying, you will have to read it. If you look to the very top, you will see that it says ADHD Medications. Since I found this post on CHADD's webpage, and I like to help people, I posted it. It seems that people in this forum are almost disgruntled about trying to help people. I guess we can all look at the glass half empty and hold ourselves back all of our lives, or we can find the many resources available to help us with the "limitations", if you want to call them that. I prefer to find the great blessings and gifts that I have that others do not.
Please do take my apologies if I took your comment wrong. I have ADD too, so I guess we need to understand that.
Your Brother,
