Ok I just got off of the phone with the school, and they are trying to get ahold of his teacher to find out if she just wants to schedule the meeting for one day after school when she is able to get back. They haven't tested him yet. First they want to try in class help to see if we can get him to where he needs to be. Such as aide pulling him out and working with him etc.
If by Oct he isnt' where I want him to be, or where they think he should be, then they will do an eval on him. She said this will go on through next year and we will continue to have these meetings until he is where he needs to be.
I guess I'm lost.
Good. Now, if I were you I'd have an evaluation set up for Sept. or October.
Easier to have one scheduled and cancel if not needed than to have to have them schedule one after the fact.
We were suppose to have an SAP meeting with Trent's school back at the beginning of April, then it was changed to April 15th, then I find out this morning it is cancelled again. Trent's teachers husband is in very bad shape and she wont be back till probably thursday at the earliest.
Is this a sign? It's almost the end of the year, I don't know if they have tested my son or anything. I don't know what to do.

Call the school and talk to who ever is above the teacher - the principal, guidance councelor - school psychologist. I'd be firm but calm and tell them that you insist Trent be tested ASAP. If they give you crap that it's too close to the end of the year, remind them of all the times he's been cancelled.
