Ritalin is supposedly weaker than Adderall but as for how the dose would effect someone that is completely unpredictable.
5mg of Adderall could give one person chest pains but that same person could take 27mg of concerta and have no side effects at all. A different person could get no relief from their ADHD symptoms from even the highest dose of conceirta but take 10mg of Adderall XR and suddenly be symptom free.
Like MafiaKiddo said, with medications like this there's no definitive conversion table. Especially since they use different ingrediants. Not all ADHDers are the same and as such each medication has a different effect. If you're really searching for numbers, I remember reading a controlled study that used 36mg of conerta vs 20 mg of adderall. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but maybe it'll get you in the ballpark.
To better anwser your question, I need to know if your talking about an African or European swallow?
My son just switched from Adderall XR to Concerta. I have been told that the doctor should double the dose number from Adderall to Concerta and then choose the closest dose offered by Concerta. In other words, my son was on Adderall 15 mg and then Adderall 20 mg and he is now on Concerta 36 mg.
I hope this helps.

Concerta comes in 18mg, 27, mg, 36mg and 54mg tablets.
Adderall XR comes in 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, 20mg, 25mg, 30mg.
Judging by the upper and lower limits each med is available in and if it is true that Adderall is about 2x as strong as Ritalin then I'd assume:
18mg Concerta = 5mg - 10mg Adderall xr 27mg Concerta = 10mg Adderall xr 36mg Concerta = 20mg Adderall xr 54mg Concerta = 25mg - 30mg of Adderall xr.I also found the info below on the web http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/adhd/a/adderall.htm
In general, the dosage of Adderall is about 1/2 that of methylphenidate (Ritalin) containing products, so 20mg of Ritalin would be about equivalent to 10mg of Adderall.
Hope that helps you a little
