Okay, here is my story..my son was on concerta 54 for 2 years...started having tics and wearing off early so the dr. said lets try vyvanse. We started out at 25 mg and then went to 50 mg. On the 25, he was fine, but didn't last long...we moved to 50 mg..all was good until the 2 month hit..then the rebouds, were AWFUL..very angry outburst, threats...just a child I never saw before..talked about hating himself, etc. So, we decided to go back to the concerta 54...today is the 4th day he has been back on the concerta and right now he is in his room having a major melt down and threating and throwing things, talking about how he was to be normal and hates himself...just like when he was on the vyvanse. I have never seen this child before th vyvanse. Question, could this still be from the vyvanse...I thought the drugs came out the same day. I am really scared right now and am going to call the dr.
