Ritalin Side Effect | ADHD Information

Has anyone experienced suicidal ideation while taking Ritalin? I seemed to have an increase in negative thinking about myself including suicidal thoughts.

Dave, talk to your doctor as soon as you can. Whether it is med related or not, you should talk to the psychiatrist.Please please get some help it does say that can be a side affect for any of these meds.  Talk to your doctor everyone wants you to stay around.  Even those of us who don't know you.Thank you. I stopped taking the drug and will see if those thoughts subside. My doctor didn't think they would have that effect but he's not having to deal with these thoughts. I've not heard of stimulants causing suidical thought, more you hear that on antidepressants, BUT always err on the side of caution. Keep seeing your doctor.
