Using your hyperactivity | ADHD Information

My DS was diagnosed ADHD at 5. He's 9 now. He's such a good kid, but is completely out of control when not on his meds. Well the other day he asked me where he got his allergies from (it's Spring and we are all allergic to pollen). I said the same place where you got your hyperactivity from: your mom and dad.

He said "no-way, you never use your hyperactivity."


When I stopped laughing I felt so blessed that he sees his ADHD as a gift. Maybe we could all learn something from our kids.

That is awesome- I love it. 

the funny thing about having a child with ADHD is that you will never know what is going to come out of their mouths next. With or with out meds my mark is a pistol and he is extreamly smart, too smart and he will throw things at us (figurtivly speaking) and we sometimes just dont know wether to laugh or cry. But once the shock wears off you stop and think....only my baby can come up with somthing like that!!!!hahaha Good luck to all parents believe yo ume I understand how hard it can be.
