parenting add kids | ADHD Information

hmm ive been telling my mom i dont really respond real well to yelling and all that since about 4th grade, thats about 6 years now.......... May be you should try beating her with your dull sword. Just kiddinglolI know secretly video her and show her what she sounds and looks like.  Wrap up the video in a red bow and give it to her as a gift - LOL - if you are going to be yelled at you might as enjoy it.As a mom I can tell you that I do the same thing to my son.  I wonder why I have to tell him 9 times a day to clean up after himself, clean his room, etc etc.  It's a mom thing, but I have learned recently that driving myself crazy trying to fix CJ will not help,  he can't be fixed he can only be coached and I have seen greater sucess in coaching than in yelling and making myself crazy.  I have to pretend that he's someone elses's kid sometimes.  (we treat our children differently than others) Maybe your mom needs to find a better way to communicate with you.  You have to be proactive and talk to her though, she can't read your mind.  LOL!  Good one Rae70!!  Your Mom is probably ADHD too.  -Gettingagrip-no she just way to blind to notice what she puts me through with all the pressure haha i laugh at some of the stuff they say because my mom does everything the opposite hmmmm could that explain why i feel im going nutz, my mom constantly just flipping out at me repeating her self over and over   MAYBE YOU COULD GET YOUR MOM TO VIEW SOME OF THESE POSTS WITH YOU.
