does ANYONE here use tricyclics for add?

i am investigating other options for the adderall xr incase this does not work.

i looked at desipramine and it sounds very scary.  i looked into clonidine but it sounds not very effective but only for impulsivity and agression but that is all.

any suggestions or luck on any tri's, i would love to hear about!  so far i cannot even spell right on this adderall xr and it is making me feel stupider then without it, lol. grrrr.
