Adderall XR - side effects | ADHD Information

Ask her how shes feeling with the medicine. she should notice a difference in being able to concentrate and stay on task, and even enjoy the tasks. But adderall wont make her throw up. must be a bug.

My 9 year old daughter has been taking Concerta for about 1 1/2 - 2 years now. Today 4/29/08 I switched her to Adderall XR (25 mg -- she weights around 55 pounds) as she has been having difficulty focusing and completing her work in school.

Today she came home from school sick and has been hugging the toilet ever since.  She has never had these side effects on Concerta and I wondered if anyone else has had these side effects or if you suspect a flu bug? The lady in the office did say a lot of kids a the school are complaining about stomach aches lately. Unfortunately nothing is staying down right now - not even water.

The good news is her teacher did say she was doing really well listening and following directions today so I hope it's just a flu bug. Any thoughts....
