swallowing pills | ADHD Information

My son who is 5 1/2 just started taking Strattera.  This morning when I gave him his first pill it broke in half.  He got part of it down.  Is there an easy way I can give him this pill without him biting down on it?  The doctor told me not to break it half.  I'd appriciate any input.put it in chocolate puddingChocolate pudding, applesauce, yogurt, whatever he will swallow without chewing. Try getting him to swallow tic tacs whole, and then move to M&M's. The reward for my DD was after she swallowed 5 M&M's whole, she got the rest of the bag. ( SKittles work well also)

I made some fudge the week before we started taking pills.  No one was eating it so I took some and smushed it around the pill.  He swallowed it without a problem.  After a week of this I put let and less on the pill and finally he took the pill without any.  He told me it helped because he did not like the taste.
