I have a 10 year old step son that we have been trying to get diagnosed with ADHD for about 3 years. He has every syptom there is and we have tryed every herbal and diet out there. But nothing has worked. And at the same time I cant get a doctor or a counsoler to diagnose him. He is a very good munipulater and he makes it seem like we overreact and he's not that bad. And for some reason they believe him and not us. You would think that them being perfessionals they would be able to look through it. But since he was also abused by his biological mother they just say that he has anxiety. He might but there is more to that. He cant focus at home or at school and have behavior problems. I just need help with what I should do and what other options do I have. If someone can help me PLEASE I AM WILLING TO DO ANYTHING.

It is also possible that he does ONLY have anxiety, which can cause alot of ADHD like symptoms. You just need to go to a child psychiatrist that specializes in medication management. You don't go to therapists or pediatricians for ADHD dx.
