who to ask for testing???? | ADHD Information

I would ask the Ped for a complete work up. We do it twice a year and include EEG's EKG's and a full blood panel. I think that it would be a very good idea to have these test aleast every 6 months. I know that I wish we had done them this often. I am glad that I know now.

My son has been on Foacalin XR since he was 4 and he is now 6 1/2.  I'm thinking I should ask for some test to be run to make sure everything is right internally.  Liver, heart, etc... I've read many post lately making reference to testing.  Should I ask our pedi to do this or does the doctor that prescribes the med handle this?  The psychiatrist has never made mention of the need...I'm just feeling it might be a good idea to do so.  Any thoughts out there?
