concerta to adderall | ADHD Information

my son, now 14 has been on concerta since the 3rd grade.  we did try strattera and found that he was violent on it.  he has now maxed out on concerta and will be starting adderall.  they started him out at 10mg and he weighs 80 lbs.  does anyone know how it compares, mg dosage wise, to concerta and if 10mg is too low?  from what I have read, it does look like it will be and I just want to be prepared before he starts it.  also, how many days should I keep him on 10mg before calling the doctor to up the dosage?  any help would be appreciated.

   concerta and adderall are completely different meds, so you cant compare dose. 10 sounds like a good starting point to me. I use the two week rule of thumb for most med and/or dose changes.
