Uplifting??? Stories of ADHD | ADHD Information

Ok am I missing something? Are these all supposed to be encouraging? a couple really got me down.  It's ok if no one answers me I am just mouthing off I guess. well i can tell you in the last 6 months with meds and play therapy, my son is doing better than ever. i just hope he stays that way.I should have pointed out more clearly that I was refering to the book being offered to download.  I expected to read positive stuff since the title says "Uplifting".  The stories aren't all positive.  Some make me afraid of the future.  Glad to hear your son is doing well spamula.

Sometimes people come here to vent and ask advice of people that understand what is going on in their lives. Our children are very challenging and can present some problems that others do not understand. Often the well meaning advice you will receive from others may work for a non-ADHD child but not ours.

My son is funny and lots of fun when he is medicated. I have great stories about the crazy things he has said or done. We had a thread about the funny things our kids did a while back.

I tend to think of being ADHD as a gift. My son and I are funny and very creative people because of it. Being ADHD is not all doom and gloom like the doctors tend to project  when they tell you about it.
