strattera withdrawal symptoms | ADHD Information

We were told we could go off cold turkey as well but because I had some of the lower dose pills still and it wasn't an emergency (ie. having a bad reaction) I did wean him off just a bit (not the way some people recommend).  We didn't have any issues coming off of it.  I am hoping that someone can give you some insight.  My guess is that if the twitches are med related they will go away.  Defintely check with your doc or even the pharmacist (I often talk to the pharmicist when I have questions about side effects).  Good luck!

I have a fifteen year old son who stopped taking Strattera (80mg) a week ago. I am noticing neck twitches/tics. His docor said he could go off cold turkey.  Anyone have a similar experience?  By the way, he is much happier and not as irritable or aggressive off the med.
