helps me remember certain things better simply because I am paying more attention to what I'm doing. However, it's not a miracle drug, you have to work hard to remember things still and things still slip my mind quite often.

I am older ADHDer on meds and i find it hard to remember unless i tag it with an
image in my mind. does'nt work 100 percent but it helps. Focus on a method for
you, as an adhder you are highly creative and Will find a trick that works.

one of my biggest problems  is that i am always forgetting things...does adderal xr or any of the ADD meds help you to remember or spell or type better?  lol.

Well anything that will help you focus - should help you remember things too.  Let us know how it works for you, if you give a med a go.I've been on Ritalin for ten years and I still suffer from C.R.S.  ( can't remember Sh*t)I often appear vacant or scatty when not on meds.
I have the answers/responses inside my head...can't get them out. processing completely useless;

Absolute genius on meds ,I can fill in as many application forms as you want (and understand all the questions!) but creativity reduced.

I found that I could create new strategies to help my memory (organisational skills) whilst on medication.
I still forget heaps, but am able to organise myself to cope better and function very well unmedicated.

Keep working at it...it'll happen
