PLEASE Some help ASAP Is this overdose? | ADHD Information

Matthew was put on Straterra 5 weeks ago. 25 mg. so then recently up him
ot 40-mg but it seems like every other day he is throwing up after his med.
we have tried morning dose and then we try nighttime dose. he has lost
5lbs. so he has been on it 6 weeks. so then i switch him back the last 2 days
to 25mg. im calling the dr in the morning. will she stop this immediately? if
he is on 25 how will they wean him off and can he stop after 6 weeks? Need
your help. Matthew almost choked tonight throwing up it scars me plus if he
is throwing up every other night that not good that will cause damage.

It would depend on his weight. What is his weight?

You can stop strat cold turkey, so shouldn't be a problem if you stop.

you could try splitting the dose. My daughter takes Strattera and gets occasional nausea. We've pretty much got it figred out how/when to give it to her to avoid that. She never got nausea when I was splitting her dose though, this has only started since giving her the whole dose in the morning. I've got to give it to her AFTER her other med and with her breakfast and she usually does ok.
