I see so many posts, saying you should try it and how much meds changed their life. But so many end in "But, now my med is no longer working and I'm trying x..."
Is there folks out there that have been on the same meds and dose for years and it's still working?
I get the feeling meds are only a temporary solution.
What works for you?
i've never taken meds programmer --- but having said that i think there are quite a few people who stay on the same dose (normally as long as they take the odd med break).
the thing is they are unlikely to frequent this site - cos people only tend to come here when they are changing meds or things aren't quite working right for them... when it's all working right - they're out there having that thing (what's it called again????) oh yes, a life!
good luck with your decision. btw i go with the poster who said your body/mind/soul just kinda wants you to take a break/slow down - rather than start on the meds.
My son was on focalin for about two years. That Is pretty good considering the different meds he had been on in the past. I've been on Adderall XR the longest of all the medications I've tried. Going on 4.5 years now.
