meds for sleepaway camp | ADHD Information

I would think the nursing staff should be able to handle her meds just fine. I've sent my daughter on meds that were twice a day and she did ok, they were morning and bedtime thoughThanks Diane,
With the tenex I might be able to do morning and bedtime but the best thing
for my dd either way will probably be morning and dinner time. The
infirmary is right by the dining hall so I actually thought that dinner time
would be easy just to run in to the nurse to get her meds then. I hope it
works out!Has anyone sent a child to sleep away camp taking meds 2x per day?

Last year dd went to a 5 night camp and took her adderall XR in the a.m.
only. She LOVED it and is going for 12 days this year. I am so nervous about
her meds. Right now she is taking tenex 2x per day plus her stimulant. We
may discontinue the tenex before camp but then I think she may need a
stimulant booster in the afternoon so either way she will probably need
meds 2x per day. What makes me the most nervous about the tenex & camp
is that tenex can't be missed and her a.m. & p.m. doses are different. It
seems like it would be so easy for them to get it confused. It's a great camp
and I do trust them, but I am really stressing over how to handle her meds!!!
