Summer change in meds..need advice! | ADHD Information

It's icky. I'm sure some of you are having the same issue because it's Summer too.   I dropped my DHs Adderrall XR dosage from 15mg to 10 mg. Now for the first couple of weeks, she was great. Now, not so much. At the doctor's okay, we lowered it to help her grow a bit and try to gain some weight.   So advise needed: Would it be harmful to let her go between 10mg and 15mg...say two weeks at 15 then lower to 10 until I can't stand it anymore? I have a doctor's appointment scheduled. But at times, I trust other parents of ADHD kids more than the doctor. So I thought I would ask you the parents who are actual professionals at this!   Thanks y'all! Kim

I think this is fine, but it really depends on how your daughter reacts to dose changes. You wouldnt want her to have to keep adjusting.
