After at trip to the doctor's office this morning, my daughter's neurologist decided to switch to Strattera since she was having so many bad days with Adderall XR. My daughter was able to focus better as well as stay on task, but the impulses were still there as well as much of the hyperactivity and NONSTOP talking and interrupting. Not to mention other kids were telling her that she's mean and too bossy. She's 7.
I'm kind of nervous about the switch - tomorrow is the last day of Adderall then we start with Straterra on Saturday. Hopefully, by the time Winter break is over we'll see some results from the Straterra. Our fingers and toes are crossed!
