Rayaud’s and concerta link | ADHD Information

Our 17 year old daughter has been on concerta 54mg and 25mg ritalin a day  for the past 7 years.  In the last few years she has developed extremely poor circulation in her fingers and toes.  Quite often when she s just sitting around her fingers hands and feet are purple and freeing cold.  As a result of this, her nail growth is non-estistent - very thin and weak.   She tends to get run down very easily and any sores or pimples take months and months to heal.   As a child she would tan easily but now is very pale with white skin.  It ha been suggested that it could be Rayaud's Syndrome.  Looking on the net, I have found there is some link with this and the use of concerta.  Any ideas? My Oldest  DD was born with Raynauds syndrome, and my Sister got it around age 15-16. Neither had ever taken Concerta, or any other meds. I think it is hype IMO. I acquired Raynaud's when I was around 16.  It started with my feet getting hives all over them and itching.  Then whenever my hands or feet got cold, they would itch like crazy.  It was like an allergy to the cold.  Antihistamines like zyrtec help a lot.  Also, over the years, my condition has improved a lot.  I take zyrtec everyday for other allergies.  I have never been on any adhd medication or any other medication when the Raynaud's came on.  I don't know anything about if it's related to Concerta.  I just know that I got it around the same age as your daughter.
