Vyvanse no good- what’s next? | ADHD Information

has anyone tried adderall or concerta? what's the difference?Adderrall is an amphetamine.  It's in the same family as Vyvanse.  Concerta is a methylphenidate drug.

Hello All,

I am a 23 year old female who was recently put on Vyvanse XR 50 mg. When I started the 30mg, I was fine, but the effects were minimal. Now recently starting the 50, I feel too much of a "jolt" when i first take the medication along with some unpleasant bowel disruption. I am meeting with my doctor on Monday to discuss the next step, but I am wondering if anyone has found medications that they like better than Vyvanse.
