I couldn't have said it better myself!  This place is a godsend...it's so wonderful to be able to post a question and have an answer so quickly, from people who are in the trenches right with us.  And not only do they have the information, but they understand the feelings that we all have in dealing with ADHD in the family. Time to relay my sincere thanks to all who post, lurk, and simply exist on this site.  I have my local contacts, a slew of doctors and specialists, concerned family and friend--they all help me on this unexpected and very real journey of helping my son manage his adhd.  It is wonderful to check into this site and communicate with other parents facing similar situations.  Thank jah we live in a world that makes this possible.  Unless you have lived through the disappointments of meds that don't deliver, behavior that can drive a saint up a wall, questions about everything (why doesn't my kid have more friends?), it is difficult to relate to our lives.  We all want the best for our children.  To provide them with the tools for a successful life.  They cannot do it without our help.  So thank you.  No response is too inconsequential--like the advice to put shampoo in trial size bottles so my son does not use the entire bottle...
